Craft Day Centre
This program is available to people over 65. It aims to provide a social environment within a supportive atmosphere.
Date: 4th Tuesday of the month
Time: 10am till 2pm
Cost: Morning tea, lunch and craft materials, $10
The craft day is held in the Activities Room at the back of the Inverell Home Support Program building, 48 Oliver Street, Inverell.
Mondays and Wednesdays at “Cooinda”, 10am
Exercises run for approximately 45 minutes and provide an opportunity to sustain and improve physical mobility. It is also an occasion for social interaction. Clients exercise at their own discretion and level of physical ability.
Monday and Wednesday Social Lunch Bus
Clients are picked up from home and driven to any one of a variety of venues for lunch. The length of these outings will vary; longer days include out-of-town drives and venues, whilst shorter days involve visits to local venues.
The contribution to a Lunch Bus outing varies, with effort made to not exceed $20. This amount includes travel, a 2 course meal and any activity that is included in the outing.
The program is “Funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services”.
