Carer Support Group
The Carers Support Group provides information and support to care givers of people with dementia or memory loss issues. The service also provides the Carers’ Link, a monthly support newsletter. The Carers Group is comprised of past and present Carers who share mutual support and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting the person with memory loss. There is no cost to attend. Morning tea is provided and a guest speaker attends to give valuable information to carers each month.
Service hours: The Carer Support Group runs on the first Monday of each month, 11am to 1pm at 147 Otho Street, Inverell.
Developed specifically for carers, the new Carer Gateway links carers with access to practical information and advice, and connections to services in their local area.
Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme
